Robot programmer

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot Production Cells
- Self-sufficient execution of given tasks
- Installation of industrial robots according to project specific task list
- Create process charts
- Acting in accordance with norms, standards and regulation
- Some electrical installation as required
- Certain shift work and standby after customer take over
- Documentation and building of robot control program manuals
- Training of regular customer staff and maintenance crews
- Business travel required (approx. 50%)
- Continuous improvement of ATN quality levels
- Set up robot from scratch
Qualifications/Skills/Training:
- Experience programming KUKA, ABB, FANUC and/or COMAU Robots.
- Knowledge of automotive plant programming standards (VASS, DCP, Global standard...) is valued.
- Programming of collaborative robots.
- Basic knowledge of vision systems.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and frequent weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
