Design and function principle

The ATN surface treatment system with return flow is specially designed for applying glass primer. This recirculation system consists of a pressurized material tank (01) with an agitator that prevents the solid particles depositing in the primer. The dispenser (05) meters the material evenly and optionally applies it to a piece of felt or a brush, which is drawn over the workpiece surface at a constant pressure. A shut-off valve (04) in the primer system’s return line controls the material flow, while a double diaphragm pump (03) circulates the glass primer within the system. The system is controlled by an IFC application controller (02).
