ATK DUR application tower
The ATN DUR (diagonal up rotating) application tower is used for applying material to workpieces. It is mainly used for window glass and roofs. Its compact design is especially helpful in tight assembly spaces. The design of the tower also allows a range of application nozzle angles from horizontal (90°) to 135°.
A robot with a gripper moves the workpiece to the application nozzles. During material application, the nozzles rotate, ensuring optimum, flawless application of both round and profiled beads. The robot can then mount the workpiece.
After applying the material, the applicator turns to the vertical cleaning position and is locked in position. The pneumatic nozzle cleaning unit moves upwards and compressed air nozzles clean the application nozzles. Material residue is collected in a container which can be removed for cleaning.
