Cartridge Dosing Unit

The ATN Cartridge Dosing Unit enables precise and fully automatic application from disposable or reusable cartridges and is therefore ideal for the application of very small quantities in research and technology centres or small series production. 

The Cartridge Dosing Unit can be attached to a stationary application tower or directly to an industrial robot. The great advantage is the flexibility of the materials because there is no need for an external drum supply and tubing. The Cartridge Dosing Unit consists of a drive unit and a material unit. The drive unit is made from ATN's EVD dosing technology. The material unit, on the other hand, consists of the cartridge holder and a needle valve applicator, which can be designed specifically for the project and material. A commercially available standard cartridge (310 ml) or a high-pressure cartridge (up to 200 bar) can be clamped into the cartridge holder. The quick-change system enables easy handling and changing of the cartridges, which allows a high degree of flexibility for the materials used. 

The separation of the drive and material unit also makes the cartridge dispenser easier to maintain. It is controlled via ATN's in-house IFC control system. All the necessary application parameters that require precise and repeatable application directly from the cartridge can be set conveniently and intuitively.
