Integrated degree programme at ATN
Whether for the practical component of your integrated degree or for studies at a university of applied sciences, ATN is a recognized partner that can help you reach your educational goals. Gain the practical experience you need for your studies, or kick start your transition to professional life by writing your final paper or thesis at ATN.
A fundamental characteristic of the integrated degree programme is the large practical orientation. Gaining initial working experience and insights into the practical areas is a crucial point for students to start a integrated degree programme.
Operational areas of ATN
ATN's areas of expertise as a full-range-supplier of state-of-the-art industrial products and equipment are very extensive. This is also reflected in the different fields of study in which we offer internships, basic training or final theses.
Cooperative Engineering Training (CET)
CET combines vocational training with a degree at a university of applied sciences, culminating in a Bachelor or Master of engineering. The duration of study is 4 years for a bachelor's degree and 5 years for a master's degree.
You'll complete your vocational training with us as an industrial mechanic while studying for your first modules at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. When you pass the training, which is examined by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, you'll go on to full-time study, completing your practical phases at ATN.

- Producing components and assembling mechanical modules
- Maintaining and monitoring technical systems
- Technical systems troubleshooting and documentation
- Production plant setup, retrofitting and commissioning during your professional training

You'll complete your vocational training with us as an electronics engineer for automation while studying for your first modules at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. When you pass the training, which is examined by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, you'll go on to full-time study, completing your practical phases at ATN.

Integrated degree programme - vocational universities of cooperative education
Dual study programs combine practical and theoretical alternation in defined phases over a total study period of 3 years. Admission requirements for a BA degree program include a general or subject-linked university entrance qualification, a successful master craftsman's examination or advanced training, or passing an entrance examination after completing vocational training. Successful completion of the program leads to a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Arts degree.
Electrical engineering studies at Bautzen alternate between practical phases at the company and theoretical phases at college. Each phase lasts around 12 weeks.
With a focus on automation technology you will learn the required theoretical basics, which you’ll be able to apply directly to your work with us and deepen your knowledge in the process. You’ll gain an understanding of our electrotechnical processes and workflows.

Industrial engineering with business studies at Bautzen alternate between practical phases at the company and theoretical phases at college. Each phase lasts around 12 weeks.
With a focus on production technology you will learn the required technical and business basics, which you’ll be able to apply directly to your work with us and deepen your knowledge in the process. You’ll gain an understanding of our various departments, like Marketing, Sales, Production Planning and Purchasing.
