Glue application and assembly plant automation

Automation and robotics are among ATN’s core business areas. Our systems are used in application, assembly and component handling. And having developed over 300 customer-specific plants with varying levels of automation, we have a wealth of know-how and experience to offer.

From plant design to Robcad simulation, engineering, production and programming right through to commissioning, our specialist departments work hand-in-hand to implement customer-specific solutions. Our employees’ expert knowledge is first-rate and wide-ranging, which means we can approach each customer’s requirements flexibly and implement the solution, whether a new build, a conversion or a plant upgrade.

We integrate robots and automation technology based on customer specifications or planned by our in-house concept development team. ATN has a wide range of expertise in both robotics and automation technology. We work with almost every manufacturer and supplier in these fields. ATN is a systems partner to robot specialists ABB and Kuka.

Human-machine collaboration

One burgeoning area of automation is how humans and robots can join forces in the workplace. The kind of safety systems we are accustomed to may become a thing of the past, or certainly less onerous, thanks to the development of new control and software technologies and sensors.

This is an area where ATN has a wealth of knowledge based on our systems partnership with Kuka and our first successful development tests and concepts with Universal Robots.
